Profiling for Individual Performance
The DiSCUS profiling system used by Lateral Learning Systems is highly effective at helping individuals better understand their behavioural profile, and their responses to different situations.
Personal profiles are primarily about fostering the individual awareness of self:
- Understanding of job fit (or not)
- Understanding of team fit (or not)
- Awareness of development requirements and priorities
- Awareness of inter-relationships with co-workers and supervisors
The purpose of this self awareness is increased job performance. Individuals are made aware of their own responses and work patterns. Managers are made aware of individual motivations and preferred management style.
