Measuring Organisational Performance
Organisational improvement must be measured, firstly so that what has been achieved can be recognised, and secondly to predict what else can be achieved.
Measuring performance requires a systematic approach to identifying the Key Performance Indicators. Lateral Learning Systems utilises the Snyder Evaluation Process to measure the results achieved:
- What is the Ideal situation
- What targets are needed to achieve the ideal
- What outputs are needed to achieve targets
- What activities are needed to achieve outputs
- What inputs are needed to achieve activities
